NEW YORK, Oct. 14.
Spanish diplomatic circles expect a change in the status quo in French West Africa within 48 hours, says the Madrid correspondent of the German - controlled Swedish Telegraph Agency. British and U.S. troops are conoentrated on the GambiaSenegal frontier, adds the agency. Reports that a large Allied convoy was seen off Dakar cannot be confirmed in Washington.
