LONDON, Oct. 12,
The Allied troops in Madagascar advancing along the 180 mile road from Antansnarivo to Fianarantsoa met obstacles only in road blocks. The French force remaining in Madagascar is now in Fianarantsoa under the command of General Alfred Guillemet. Vichy troops taken prisoner declare that they are "sick of this children's war."
