INDIAN RED SHIRTS
FATAL DISTURBANCES.
P.A. Cable.
PESHAWAR, Oct. 11.
Three people are believed to have been killed and a few wounded, and also 12 polieemen injured, as the result of a disturbance at Mardan yesterday. About 100 Red Shirts, including Abdul Azis, a Congress Party members of the Provincial Legisialative Assembly, rushed the Courthouse with the aim of damaging records. The police ejected them, and Red Shirts and city hooligans stoned the poliee, who fired a few shots. The situation is now quiet, and in hand. Qazi Attautlah, a former Minister for Education, was convicted under the Arms Act and fined £250. He refused to pay, whereupon the equivalent portion of his property was attached. The Premier of Sind,' Mr Allah Baksh, has been relieved of his office by the Governor of Sind. Three members of the Sind Council of Ministers resigned following Mr Baksh's dismissal. The Governor suggested that Mr Baksh should resign, but the Premier refused. The Governor in a statement said he had discussions with Mr Baksh regarding the Premier's renunciation of British honours, after which he had no option but to inform Mr Baksh that he no longer possessed the Governor's confidence and therefore could not continue in office. It is believed that a coalition government will be formed under Sir Gliulam Hussein Hidayatullah, who was Premier of Sind in 1937. v
