HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE.
At His Majesty's Theatre to-night Ida Lupino and John Garfield will be seen again in "Out of the Fog." This has a modern setting and deals with the turbulent romance between an excitemenchungry girl and a ruthless young man, determined to "get ahead" in the world, at no matter what cost. No. 2 on the programme is "The Great Swindle," starring Jack Holt. Cast as a fighting insurance company adjuster who uncovers evi • dence of arson in a spectacular warehouse fire, Holt is at his fighting best as he slowly but inevitably closes in on the master mind behind the crime. A compound of logical deduction and of sanguinary rough-and-tumble battles, "The Great Swindle" possesses in thrilling abundance those qualifications for entertainment which have made Holt a fan favourite for so many years.
