A notable exhibit in a recent exhibition at the Bagdad Miiseum was the restoration of a Sumenan grave containing the skeleton of £ woman buried about 3000 B.C., with all her jewellery, toilet lequisites, and personal belongings. These mcluded copper hairpins, eoppei earrings and a necklace, a belt of shell beads, a bracelet, cockle shells containing eye-black, a set of copper toilet implements, copper soles ot sandals, and a set of copper and 1 clay vessels for food and dnnk for ' the woman's journey to the next ' world.
