THE TAIL-LESS PLANE.
STAINFORTH IN MISHAP. British Official Wireless. (Received June 25, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, June 24. Flight-Lieut. Stainforth, the wellknown Schneider Trophy pilot, escaped uninjured when a pterodactyl experimental tail-less aeroplane in which he was taking off from the aerodrome at Farnborough overturned and was damaged.
