DONOGHUE'S LUCK.

(Received June 25, 1.10 p.m.) LONDON, June 24. The Daily Telegraph's Paris correspondent says one of the gi'eatest istrokes of luck in his long career came to Steve Donoghue to-day. He flew to Paris on a; busman's hctiday to see t'he Grand Prix and he had no mount. He watched a eouple of races from the stand and then the ownertrainer of Admiral Drake, wiho had planned for an apiprentice to ride the horse, besought Donoghue to take the mount. He did so and rode a great racfe and won the igreatest race on the Continent on a liorse which finished last in the English Derby.
