MELBOURNE, June 23. Sentence of ten strokes of the lash and 18 months' imprisonment with hard labour was imposed by his Honour Mr Justice Woinarski on Frederick Cusdin, 23, married, on a charge of assaulting Miss Erene Panioty, causing bodily-harm. Counsel for the plaintiff called evidence to show that Cusdin, who was once a jockev, met . with a serious head injury when he fell while riding in the Great Northern Steeplechase in New Zealand. ■TlrT . !
