BLENHEIM CLUB'S SEASON. The arrangements for the opening to-morrow of ihe Blenheim Rowing Club's season and new boat-house aie now complete, and, if fijie weather favors the club, an enjoyable afternoon should be spent watching the various a'quatic attractions arranged. while Busfi's Orcfiestra will cniiven the proceedings. The reunion dinner, to mark the occasion, in the evening, promisesj to ■be a great suecess, and tne number of old oarsmen who have signified their intention of being present is distinctly encouraging. Some of the latter include or iginai members, and •their reminiscences should be very interesting. Mr W. D. Draper has signifiecl his intention of donating a very handsome set of photographs of the past Champion Eours of the club for the committee room. Mr Draper has always been a keen follower and supporer of the club, and hi's generosity is to bo commended. The club is hopeful of obtaining eularged photographs of various crews who have won honors for the club, and also photos of past members who at one time hold office. NEW ZEALAND A.K.A. The secretary of the M./A.B.A. (Mr A. M. Hale) has received the order papcr containing the business which is to come -before the members at the annual general meeting of the N.Z.A.R.A., to be held in Wellington towards Ihe end of the month. The following are items of interest: The M.A.R.A., as far as the order paper shows, is the only Association making application for the 102(5-2-1 champion s hip regatta. That a permanent course bc decided on for the holding of the championship regatta, That the minimum weight of coxswains for four-oared crevvs be 5st. At present there is no rule saying what coxswains must weigh. That a new rule for the reeognition of coaches be drawn up. That new conditions for the governing of eight-oared provincial championships be set up.
