Five years ago, in Mexico City, Benjanrin Turner, then tho manager for the Ameriean Refining Company, •hecame involved in a shcwkiug escapade. Immediately he summoned his friend Janies Hallen, and turned over to him his entir© bank aceount, witlh iinsltructiolns to get tlie best lawyers to fight the" case. Hallen, however, disappqared with the money overnight, and Turner languished in gaol for two years. After he had gained his t'reedom he started a search for Hallen. Yefsterday his hunt ended, when he walked into tlie town of Falmouth, aine, and shot Hallen dead on hi.s own doorstep. Turner imniediately gave himself up to the police.
