Since the war this railway has been operated at a financial loss, and the auction is part of proeeediugs conneeted with its bankruptcy. .1 udge Wilkcrson , under whom the bankruptcy proceedings were conclncted, ruled that the auctioneer must not accept less than £25,000,000 for the property.
