Durmg the fii-st three months of 1926 the imports into New Zealand were about £500,000' greater than in the firs't three months of 1925. During the next three months, compared with tlie oorresponding period of 1925, the imports decreased by nearily £900,000. It will probably be found that during July and August tlie deerease in imports will be £1 - 500,000. That would make a total drop for the eight months of about £2,000,000. A friend for you !
