EPISODE IN BURMA. CALCUTTA, Sept. 11. An Americari driller named Riggin, employed by tlie Bnrma ()il Oompany, and liying in a bungaloAV on the Ohauk fields with his wife arid child, shot two of three Inclians who attacked the bungalow at night. The intention, of the intruders was to kidnap liis wife and^ child and to hold them for ransoni. Riggin's seiwa.it: infornied him of tho plot. The two Indian, s died and Riggin iv as arrested.
