She asserted that there was too much dictatorship in amateur organisatious. She had 110 information who her o-pponents would be 011 the American tour, but she hoped to have an opportunity to- play Miss Wills. Questioned regarding the rurnors of her marriage, she said: "1 am heartfree and expect to be for some time to come." She declared! that professio-nal tennis would soon become as common as professional golf. Mdlle Lenglen, who was- met by Mr Pyle, will meet- Miss Mary Browne on October 9th in the first match.
