The New Zealand Loan and Mere.antile Ageney Company report having heid a sucoeis'sful elearing sale 011 account of Mr R. McArfney, at Dillon's Point yesterday. There was a large attendance of huyers and practieally a total clearanee was effected at very satisfactory ligures. The dairy ooivs sold re-aHy well, some of the prices reali.sed being as fol•lows :• — Eirst calvem, £9 7s 6d ; second calvers, £4 to £7 7s 6d ; third calv-ers, £4 to £6 5s; fourtli calvers, £4 10s to £8 2s 6d ; sixth calvers, £2 10's to £4 10s; heifers, £1 16s to £2 5s.
