1/0101011, Sept. 15. iSybil Esmond's various maseots, including a Bonzo dog, a worn beret, and a butlonhole of white heather, were apparontly less effectivo than Margaret Ramsden's gollywog, for she was hoaten 2 up and 1 to play in the semi-linal of the girls' golf championship of England. Diana Esmond, wearing a blaek cat and white heather, defeated the sixfooter, Winifred Berry, by 5 up and 3 to play. She won the final by 6 up and 5 to play.
