A meeting of ereditors in the liankrupt lestate of Harold Edwin George, f'armer, of North Canterbury was called l'or this morning, but Iapsed for want of a querum. The financial statement showed that tlie bankrupt's total debt® amounted to £8088 13s 5d, all of which were unsecured. There were no assets. The principal unsecured ereditor was tlie New Zealand Farmers' Cooperative Aissociation of Cnnterburv Ltd., to whom £8000 is due.
