AUCKLAND, Sept. 29. Ihe Auckland Cricket Association decided to take 250 one pound shares in the company to bear the expenses oi the tour of Eugland by the Kew Zealand Cricket team. I ho chairman, Mr F. Earl, express°d the opinion that our best team could bold its own with the majority of tho counties in England. .'Mr Nalder stated that the Cricket Oouncil intended to take 500 shares ond also th put as much money as possible into them. It was thought that there woukl be a substantial profit from the visit of a strone- Austrinlian sirle this season.
