' OFPERED TO TRAMWAY BOARD. (By Teiegraph — Own Correspondent ' CHRISTCHURCH, Sept. 28. It is re-ported that. the 'bus proprietors in the city are in ne-gotiation with the Christchurch Tramway Board for acquirement by it of their vehicles. In other centres the effect of the new reg-ulations has been to cause private owners to approaeh publicly-owned services. Inquiry from the Board failed to obtained confirmation or otherwise of the niove, and no' statement w-as forthcoming. It will be remembered th-at he-fore t-he regulations an ofl'er was made to the Board by private owners for the sale of their vehicles.
