(Received Sept. 27, 7.401 p.m.) PEKIN, Sept. 26. The tide of battle is reported to have turned in favbr of the antiReds in the vicinitv of Kiukiang. The crack tro-ops of Chiang-kai-shek were driyeri oqt of Nanchang, which wa.s recaptured by Sun-chuan-fang's troops, who are reported to ha,ve taken 5000 Red prisoners. The China Inland Mi.ssion in Shanghai received infoi'matioii that the mission at Cliow-tai-tow, in Honan, was destroyed. Mr Freeman Davias, an Australian missionary there, was captured. Mrs Freeman Da.vies and JVIiss Poppins., the latter being also an Australian, are reported to have escaped. Bandits were responsible for this outrage.
