LADIES' CHAMPIONSHIP.
WON BY MRS KING. The results of most of the matches in the ladies championship were verv close, the biggest margin beino the final when A'lrs King, playinp wocd golf, beat Mrs Maclaine 5 and 4 Mrs King is quite a new arrival iri Blenheim and it is gratifyin'g to see her winnmg the championship during her first year's membership of the Club. The following are the results • _ Fi rst Round: Mrs King beat Mics Chapman 2- and 1 ; Miss Bishop beat Mrs MeCallum 1 up; Mrs Young beat Mrs Leech 3 and 2; Mrs Maclaine beat Mrs Orocker 3 and 2 Second Round: Mrs Kitm |.eat Miss Bishop 3 and 2; Mrs Maclaine beat. Mrs Young 3 and 2. Final: Mrs King beat Mrs Macline 5 and 4. in the final of the Ladies' Knoekout Competition, Mrs Leech plaved good golf against M rs King " to whom she was eonceding two slTokes A round of 87 gave Mrs Leech a wiri by 5 and 4.
