Mexico City report fourteen deaths and property damage to the extenfc of a million pesos in Central and Sontliern Guanajuato as the result of fioods. The overflowing of the Lerma River, due to unpreoedented rains, sent the valley settlers to the highlands. All the crops in a radius of 300 kilometres have been loist and transportation is at a standstill.
