THE BLENHEIM CLTJB. A committee- mee-ting of ihe Blenheim Bbwling club was held on Saturday evening, the following mombers being present : Messrs A. M . Thomson (in the ehair), P. E. Hill, W. Fairw-eather. C. H. Mills, G. W. Martella, R. J. C resswell. J. B-uist, T. A. Revell, J. Nicholas, R. S. W'adsworth, and T. S. Couch. Mr T. F. Mitchell npo-logised for non-a.t-'tendanoe. Mr D. A. Jenkins was cleeted a me.mber of the cluli. The Green Committee reported that everything was in readiness for o-pening the season on Saturday next, and it was d-eeided to engage Perry's orehostra- for the afternoon. It was arranged to hold a rink tournarnent, extending over two Snturdavs after opening day, to plav for the Harding Ferns and McCal'411111 Badges, entraoe fee- to be 4s. Entries for this tournament will be received 011 Saturday afternoon next, and members -are asked to see that their namos arc placecl on the bl-aek board.
