Mr E. Dalton, off Upton Downs,, and his sister, Miss Dalton,, came into town yesterday. Mr Dalton l'eft by motor-car for t'h©> south this afternoon-. Miss Brett-Smith,, late sister at Auckland Hospital, arrived' in Blenheim yesterday. She motored south this afternoou.. Mr Checkley, of Weld's Hill,. arrivad. in town yesterday af ternoon and stayed at the Masonic Hotel. He ret turned to his station this morning but will return to town in; a; day or two. A Lon 1 on cablegram reports the death of Ad'mdral' Sir Lewis Anthony Beaumont.
