TRAVELLING THE RIGHT ROAR
Australian and N.Z. Cable Association (Received Oct. 13, 9.15 a.m.) NEW YORK, Oct. 12. The World's Petrograd correspondent had an interview with General Verkhousky, the new War Minister, who said: "By the spring you'll see* a new Russian army, based on the principles of initiative. We nr& travelling the right road and must succeed. We must triumph, or our" soul dies." The basic idea of reorganisation is; to gain the confidence of the rank and file, oust the old commanders and their methods, and profitably t& utilise the Soldiers' Councils.
