WELLINGTON, Sept. 29. Revolting details wore disclosed in a case at the Magistrate's Court ;in which a man named Matthew Cornwall was charged with "an offence under the War Regulations. Jt appeared that Cornwall induced the wife of a. soldier on active- service^ a ;voman previously of good repute, to lead an immoral life. He took all her earnings. The Magistrate described Cornwall as a low-down brute, and imposed a sentence of nine months' imprisonment.
