REDUCTION OF RACE DAYS.
MELBOURNE, April 6. • Cabinet has decided to* reduce the race days of proprietary clubs in the metropolitan area from 87 to 50 yearly, taking the view that such clubs" are in the interests neither of sport nor of the public. The question of xiltiniately abolishing them will later be considered.
