(Received April '5, 1/40 :a;m.) LONDON, April 4. England is not perturbed over the air laids on three successive nights. The newspapers emphasise the fruit-' lessness of murderous invasions without; the -lightest -.military achievement. Tliey result only-in the killing of lihfortunate civiiians.
The bombs were mostly dropped in the poorest quarters, except in a Scottish city, where 'hotels suffered. Although the Zeppelins cruised for several boujrs, • drawing a bombardment, the, indications (pointed to Hhe authorities being l*etJber prepared.
