A town in an eastern -county :reports that a Zeppelin, flying; low, was subjected to a fierce shrapnel fire. It rose rapidly, nocdm,panied by :an appalling series (o£ terrific explosions, indicating that. the 'commander, terror-stricken, loosed every projectile aboard. The airship' disappeared coast.. wards.
Mam r craters were large enough tto •bury a, haystack, A Zeppelin returning dropped eight bombs into Dunkirk. Two were killed and %wr -injured.
