A German wireless message in the Cologne Gazette states thai'an-.Eng-lish warship, apparently the Donegal, wm^ mined and sunk about the middle of February. ! The British Admiralty announces
that the statement is without foundation.
[The Donegal is an armored cruiser of the Monmouth class. She is of 9,800 tons, a speed of 23 knots, and carries fourteen 6-inch guns, eight 12-pnunders, ten pompoms, and three 3-pounder&. She is httcd with two torpedo tubes. 1
