Mi Skerrett, for the appellant,: argued that the issue was whethei> in addition to according preferencesto unionists, the Arbitration Court had power to limit the choice of employers by forbidding them under any circumstances to employ airy person other than unionists or to compel non-unionists lawfully employed tojoin a particular union.
