RIFLE SHOOTING.
> BLENHEIM DEFENCE KIFLE CLUB. The Blenheim Defence- Rifle- O.nh fired the final competition of the season on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons for brophies presented by the president and vice-president. The weather conditions on Saturday were ' not in favor of good shooting, a, cold wind with frequent showers making matters rather unpleasant. W. T-L West again showed great form, by roistering two '"all buts" and win'ni'ig, the competition, Gordon Jackson bo.''no, second with a total of 66. The season has been a vow succossful one. the shooting thvouy;hont having beori of a high standard*, while several of \
the younger members are showing signs of making good shots. The conditions were 7 shots each at 300 and 600 yards. Following are the scores: —V
