Moteo Hack Handicap: Immensity 1, Sunbeam 2, Diavolo .3. Scratched: Bracken, Formby, and Morecambei Won by a length. Time 2 3min. 30sec. Petane Steeplechase: Merrie Lad 1, Pa-i'em'afca 2, Bonny 3. Scratched: Coronation, Waiwetu, Fond Memory, and Cousin Jack. Won by half a length. Time, 4min. 33sec. Stewards' Handicap: Pursefiller 1, Portraiture 2; Mb. Victoria 3. Scratched: Redloh. Won by a length and a-half. Time, lmin. 51 2-ssec. Napier Steeplechase: The Chief 1, Sir Lethe 2, Morihiko 3. Won by four lengths. .Exotic and Cousin Jack fell, Idealism pulled up, «md Gondolier ran off. Scratched: Leolanter and Kaipetipeti. Time. 6min. 50 l-sseo.
Ahuriri Hurdles: Sam Pan 1, Player 2, Freak 3. All started. Won by four lengths. Time, 3min. 30sec. Ladies' Bracelet: Bransfield 1, Eocene 2, Amato 3. Scratched: Byron. Won by two lengths. Settlers' Hack Handicap: Sir Alba 1, Ranfurly 2, Rigo Park 3. Also started:-Day Fly, Courtly, Microbe, Morning, Roster, Perhaps, Genevieve, Bodenham, Melodist, Sarabelle, and Janitor.
