CREW'S PERSONAL EFFECTS SAVED.

If the damage is not beyond repair it is anticipated that the vessel will be refloated. The cargo in the hold is not so far affected by the water, and will probably "be undamaged, but examination ;has not yet been ma<le. The vessel lies bow on to the 66a. The Terawhiti has left Wellington to assist in saving the Kauri. ;
