MELBOURNE, June 25. The Senate's president presented Sir Roaatd Munro-Fergusori's reply covering his refusal of i3ie Senate's request for production or the corres<pondenee dealing with the dissolution. The Governor-General pointed out that the production woulfl not only be contrary to usual practice, but it would be a breach of the confidential relations between the representative of the Crown and its constitutional Ministers.
He added, for Senators' "information, that the statement Mr Cook made to tihe House covered tfhe grounds for dissolution. He also informed the Senate that,-with the advice of his Ministers, he had decided not to comply with the request to send six constitution amendment Bills to another referendum. -
