On Dr. Adams's motion : last Tuesday a resolution was passed •to the effnet that .the delegates from ! the Borough School Committee bring ! the matter before the School Commit- . tees Association; but it \va,s carried .by a majority of one only, the diyi--1 sion be:ng: White. Adams, Braddock ' and Heffer for., and Penny, Bii-ch, and Humphreys against. Handwork as a part of /a child's training is strongly in CA'idencc all over the" world, and ; surely we are not sufficiently expert to place our opinions against those great educationists who hare made the training of the child a life's study : J.
