FRANCE SHOCKED.
LONDON, Jan. 23
France has been shocked by the revelations that have been made concerning the existence of opium dens, especially in the naval ports of the Republic.
The police have just raided an establishment in Toulon which was much frequented by naval officers, and which, it has since been discovered was maintained by a lieutenant in the navy.
