SEDDON STOCK SALE.
Dalgety and Co., Ltd., submitted a fa r yarding o ( sheep at their Seddon sale yesterday, and also a good numbei of .cattle. Competition for all classes was- teen, fat ewes realising 2s better than at the last sale. Lamfi were on a par with late quotations. The cattle offered were of good quality, and were quickly disposed of. Now that the works have decided to reopen on Tuesday next, the stock market should take a decided turn tor the better.
Ihe following is a, list of tho prices realised yesterday: —Fat ewes, 12s to iss; light fat ewes, 10s 6d to 10s lidbreeding ewes, 7s Id; aged ewes, 4s 7d; mixed sex lambs, 8s lOd to 9s ■ cows, closo to calving, £9; heifers lust calved, £8 15s; fat bullocks, £3 l^s 6d; good fat cows, £S 19*- 2*-year-steers, £5 ss; weaner pigs/ 14s
