The men concerned in sticking up the Merivale station subsequent to the supposed shooting are three brothers named Kenneth. It is supposed that when the arrest of one was attempted the others came to his assistance. It is believed that Dalke was wounded and either made prisoner or Doyle carried him where he could obtain water.
