THE PLAGUE IN INDIA.
BRITISH PROTEST TO TURKEY.
London.. April 1. The plague mortality at Junjaub amounts to 70,000 a month. Great Britain strongly protested to the Porte against the continual encroachments of Turkish troops in the Koweit distrtct. New Yohk, April 1. Friction exists between President Roosevelt and General Miles. The latter declares that the Government is trying to deprive him of the command of the Army.
