A winner of a Flat Race a?i©r declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 71bs ; and for any additional race 51bs extra —in all flat races. A winner of any Hurdle Race after declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 71 bs; and for any additional hurdle race 51bs extra —in hurdle events, 3. A winner of any Trotting Race after declaration of handicaps to be rehandicapped. Definition of a Hack.—A Hack is a horse that has not won a race of the value of 80 soys., or races of the collective value of 150 soys., up to date of nomination, since Ist August, 1899. Nominations close for all races on Saturday, 29th March, at the Secretary's Office, Market Place, Blenheim, at 9 p.m. Weights for First Day's Races declared on or about Thursday, 10th April. Acceptances for First Day's Races (except Maiden) close at Secretary's Office, Saturday, 12th April, at 9 p.m. Weights for Second Day's Races declared on Tuesday, 15th April, at 8 p.m. Acceptances for Second Day's Races close on Tuesday, 15th April, at the Secretary's Office, at 9 p.m. C.
