We hate decided to OPEN A PEOPLE'S SUBSCRIPTION LIST, co that all can, id a praotical way, show their ..sympathy with the movement that culminated m the despatch of a New Zea land Contingent to Booth Africa and do something towards providing that the fortunes of war shall not entail distress on those dependent on the men who have volunteered for service. The fund will also be available for assisting those of oar kith tad kin who are m distress through being forced to abandon their homes m the Transvaal, Ospe Oolony, or Natal. Subscriptions mast not exceed Ten SbilAiegß nor bo less than ONE SHILLING. AH donations reoeived through the medium •of the poet or otherwise will be duly aflknowledged m the columns of the Mabj> SOBODOH ExPBEBB, SUBBOBIfIIOHB BEOWVBD.
