♦ REINFORCEMENT OF BQEB& BRITIBH HOLD OAPTURED POSITIONS ENEMY BAID TO BE GRADUALLY RETREATING. Capetown, January 3. The Boers, being reinforced, dispute Major-General French's entry into Oolesburg. French, however, holda the osptured positions. Later newu states that the Bbera are gradually retreating.
