A LONDON VISITOR .
NURSK BCOIT (0.L.L.C.0.) Amongst eminent London visitors at present m our midst is Nurse Ruth Olartiaßcott (0.L.L.0.0., London), who is staying m Lauroeston, Tas. In London Medical ai.a Hospital circles perhaps no Nurse is more widely known and esteemed, for the bißt part of her 63 years of life has been spent m obtaining a profound experience of her profession. Our representative recently paid this distinguished visitor a call at 119, George Street. "In this time of wtr, Nurse, special interest attaches to your pro* feseion," said the reporter. '• Yes," was the dignified reply, r there will be need ior many nurses before this war is over. But I suppose you want some particulars of my own life ?" continued Nurse Bcott. <( Yes ! our readers are interested m you." " Well, I have naturally nursed many hundreds of patients, at times overtaxing my strength. In fact, three years ago I was attacked by peritonitis, the after-effects of which were so severe that I had to temporarily abandon my profession. Shivering firs, abdominal pains, extreme tenderness to the touch, shallow breathing and other derangements of the system were experienced. I became extremely weak, and although under the care of highly qualified doctors for two years, my troubles did not abate. I was further weakened by an attack of locomoto.ataxia. (Sufferers from this disease cannot walk m the dark, and lose control over the sight, muscles, and other functions). I was very ill indeed, and hearing of so many wonderful cures effected by Dr Williams' pink pills decided to try them. I used several boxes altogether, and they completely cured me. I am quite free from all symptoms of both peritonitis and lecomotor ataxia, and am stronger and more active than ever before. Having pro red the value of Dr. Williams' pink pills I strongly recommend them to sufferers," The reason Dr. Williams' pink pills perform so many cures is because they act on the oauses, not on the symptoms of dieeaße. Thus they cure paralysis, Bt. Vitus' dance, scrtfula, erysipelas, rickets, epiaal weakness, jaundice, areemia, dyspepsia, icsomnia, vital losses, irregularities, effects of influenza, typhoid fever, etc. Soli by the Dr Williamo' Medicine Co., Wellington, N.Z., three shillings per box, six boxes sixteen and sixpence, and by all chemists and storekeepers— but be sure you ask for Dr. Williams'. Pills sold loose or m glass bottles, although colored pink, are not Dr. Williams' pink pills. The genuine are sold only m boxes bearing the full name, Dr. Williams' pink pills for pale people, m red ink on white wrapper. Nurse Scott's suburban address is the Coffee Palace, Beaconsfield.
