PEOPLE'S SUBSCRIPTION LIST.
We have deoided to OPEN A PEOPLE'S SUBSCRIPTION LIST, bo that all oan, m a praotioal way, show their sympathy with the movement that culminated m the despatch of a New Zea land Contingent to South Africa and do something towards providing that the fortunes of war shall not entail distress on fchoße dependent' on the men who have volunteered for service. The fund will also be available for assisting those of oar kith and bin who are m distress through being forced to abandon their homes m the Transvaal, Oape Colony, or Natal, Bnbßoriptionß most not exceed Ten Bhillings nor be less than ONE SHILLING. All donations reoeived through the medium of the poßt or otherwise will be duly acknowledged m the columns of the MabltBOBOUGH EIPBHBS, BCBBOBIPIIONB BEOIIVHD. £ c. d.
