ARREST OF A " SPIELER." [UNITED FBBBB ASSOCIATION.] Napier, January 2. For some six months back, Stook and Co, the totalisator proprietors, on squaring acoounts after nearly every race meeting, have found more tickets paid than were issued, the total loss being between £700 and £800. After consultation with the printers, a fresh set of tiokets was issued, with certain letters mutilated, otherwise the same as the old ones. To-day a man handed m three ; tickets of the old style, whioh were , immediately deteoted, and he was , given into custody. His name is William Marriott, and is said to belong to the spieling fraternity.
