THE HEIGHT OF HORSES.
Wellington, Jauuary 2. The consternation which was Caused by the Imperial rescript respecting the height of horses, is largely removed by the discovery that an error was made m the transmission of the cable. The height admitted is 16.8, no* 16.2. A few of the contingent's horses, and principally the offers of chargers, will still be affected.
