The sire of this animal is the celebrated pure Clydesdale Horse, “ Stirlingshire Jock,” imported from Scotland by W. Scott, Esq., of Sydney, N.S.W. “ Young Stirlingshire Jock ” is now rising five years old, stood the season in Nelson in 1867 for the first time, and proved himself a sure foal getter; he has an excellent temper, quite free from vice, and is a good worker. ‘‘Young Stirlingshire Jock ” will be at Renwick every Thursday during the season, weather permitting.
