(From our own Correspondent). Picton, Friday, 5 p.m. The Nomination for Picton took place at noon to-day. Mr. Conolly was nominated by Messrs. Overend and Godfrey; Mr. Western by Messrs. Fuller and Price ; Mr. A. P. Seymour by Messrs. Price and Western; and Mr, John Godfrey by Messrs. Dry and Watson. On a show of hands the numbers were—Conolly, 33 ; Seymour, 27; Western, 19 ; and Godfrey; 18. The latter demanded a poll. Election on Tuesday next.
