REVISION OF ELECTORAL ROLL.

A Court for the revision of the Electoral Roll for the district of Wairau was held in the Provincial Hall, on Tuesday last, by Hairy Pitt, Esq , the Revising Officer. The proceedings were extremely formal, in consequence of there being no objections this year. The Registration Officer, S. L. Muller, Esq, attended, and our reporter represented the public, no other persons being present. The following names were expunged from the roll:—W. Bursill, James S. Carroll, and H. Godfrey (dead) ; P. R. M'Rae’s claim (3) for want of proper description; and G. Withey (old claim). The claims of the following persons wore amended :—John S. Carroll, Johnson, Lawrence, F. J. Litchfield, and J. Eyles. Technical alterations were also made in the following:—Macaulay, R, D. Nosworthy, W. Wrigley, J. M. Hutcheson, A M'Lauchlan, and T. Redwood. The following new claims were added to the roll:—Alexander, Augustus, Avery, G. Barry, Beaumont, Bowser, J. S. Carroll (3), Brown, G. Carter, G. C. Clarke, Collins, Falconer, Flanaghan, Guilford, D. Henderson, Honor, A. J. Hoskins, Humffreys (3), W. Jeffries, H. Jeffries, W. Litchfield, W. Macey, G. Mason, R. Maxted, T. Maxted, H. Mears, R. D. ISTosworthy (7), W. Nosworthy (3), Paap, Richardson, A. P. S ymour, C. Williams, Nelson, John Taylor, Joseph Taylor, junr., and T. Taylor.
